Sentinel has partnered with one of its clients in its search for a System Administrator. Systems support is in a Microsoft environment with extensive use of Active Directory and virtualization. In this role, you are responsible for system and networking support to Tier 2. This will include VPN connections. You will partner with other IT members to install new hardware, software, patches, and security services as deemed necessary. This will include testing and support also to keep the system and functions up and available for our clients’ customers. This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity located in Bensenville, IL.

We are seeking a qualified Business Continuity Management (BCM) Specialist. Responsibilities include all aspects of program development, maintenance, document content, reviews, and approvals; managing the enterprise Business Impact Analysis/Business Catalog; annual plan/program exercises; and acting as the central point of contact for end-to-end management during crisis events to protect and minimize information loss, loss of revenues, and loss of corporate reputation. The candidate will also develop and test Disaster Recovery (DR) plans to ensure the continuity of critical business functions and service delivery and coordinate with service delivery teams to test hot sites and other data/infrastructure failover architectures so that primary or backup systems can be brought online within established Recovery Time Objectives (RTO), with minimal data loss or impact to business operations. In the event of a disaster, the candidate will work with the Crisis Management Team and service delivery teams to assess and report the event’s impacts on IT elements of the service delivery infrastructure.   Duties and Responsibilities - End-to-end management of crisis events. - Managing program documentation and tools. - Representing BCM in internal and external audits and with program teams and clients. - Providing input to develop BCM communications and BCM program management tools. - Participating as a key contributor in global corporate initiatives to standardize, build, enhance, and deploy BCM policy, documentation, and process worldwide. - Keeping up to date with developments in BCM standards. - Acting as the central point of contact for disaster recovery efforts. - Managing Disaster Recovery documentation, testing, and plan maintenance. - Active participation in the Change Approval Board (CAB)

You will communicate incident escalations to involved Engineers, Account Managers, Management, and the Client as needed. Additionally, you will serve as the Customer and Sales liaison, contact point, and primary escalation resource for any Support issues on open service cases. This position will be reporting to our Tempe, AZ office for occasional onsite support as needed.   Job Duties: (Daily) - Monitoring the queue and assigning tickets as needed per location, availability, and priority - Daily Resource Scrum - (Report any know P1 tickets and status) - Communicate incident escalations to involved Engineers, Account Managers, Management, and the Client as needed - SR Processing - Primary for Billing; Escalations Only When Needed - Identify areas where detailed notes are not entered with time entries. Correct those situations and coach them with engineering staff. - Do reporting to review service calls against billable service calls and identify potentially billable opportunities that are marked non-billable. - Management of small-scale projects of varying technologies - Under 40 hours - (Cisco datacenter, security, wireless, route switch, voice, virtualization, storage, etc.) - Manages all Enterprise Account escalations for Western Region support call escalations (Engage Account Supervisor and/or Operations Managers as needed) - Scheduling/Updating calendars and coordinating resources.
