The .Net Developer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of complex n-tier software applications based on documented requirements. This individual will report to the Project Manager and collaborate closely with the Product Owner, Software Engineers, and QA Engineers. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to develop effective solutions suitable for the development environment. This is a direct placement, remote position based in Hammond, Louisiana, with occasional travel a few times per year for short durations.

Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and Project Manager in an Agile team environment to analyze, design, develop, configure, and maintain web applications and services using Microsoft technologies.
  • Identify root causes and resolve issues reported by users or flagged through system performance indicators.
  • Standardize and document development practices and procedures.
  • Ensure high-quality solutions by adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Share knowledge with peers through code reviews and group learning sessions.

 Requirements:

  • Must have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Must have hands-on experience in C# and the .NET framework, SQL
  • Experience with web technologies such as ASP.Net, MVC, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and user interface design.
  • Strong experience with T-SQL and stored procedures.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining portal applications and integrations (WCF, REST, JSON, AJAX, XML, SOAP).
  • Familiarity with multi-tier architecture.
  • Knowledge of Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools such as netTiers, Entity Framework, or LINQ is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with SharePoint, SaaS applications, and IIS administration is a plus.
  • The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
  • A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude

Compensation Range: USD $110,000.00/Yr - USD $115,000.00/Yr
