We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to lead a high-visibility, 6-month website redesign initiative. While the technical development will be handled by an external vendor, this role will be responsible for managing internal deliverables, ensuring timely execution, and maintaining clear communication across departments. The ideal candidate will have experience in software projects or website redesigns and a strong ability to drive internal teams toward deadlines.

 

This is a 6-month contract opportunity hybrid/remote reporting to Avondale, Arizona.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule for internal tasks including content generation, content conversion, and form migration.
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure timely delivery of content and feedback.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing regular updates and status reports.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet ADA compliance standards.
  • Manage scope and expectations with both internal teams and external vendors.
  • Facilitate problem-solving and provide guidance to resolve issues as they arise.
  • Lead regular meetings and communications to maintain alignment and accountability. 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience managing website redesigns or software-related projects.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to enforce deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience working across departments and with external vendors.
  • Familiarity with ADA compliance in digital environments is a plus.
  • Ability to identify risks early and provide actionable solutions.

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Track departmental progress and follow up on outstanding tasks.
  • Report on project status to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Identify and escalate risks or delays.
  • Ensure alignment between business goals and project execution.
