We are seeking a highly skilled Application Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of end-user application solutions across a dynamic enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Citrix, VDI, VDA, and thin client technologies, along with strong communication skills to collaborate across departments and stakeholders.

 

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity reporting onsite/hybrid to Warrenville, IL.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing end-user application delivery solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on Citrix, VDI, and related platforms.
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and business goals.
  • Document architecture designs, workflows, and operational procedures.
  • Support project delivery and contribute to strategic IT initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of IT engineering experience (required).
  • 1+ year of experience in solution architecture (2+ years preferred).
  • Proven experience with Citrix, VDI, VDA, and thin client environments.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong documentation and analytical skills.
  • The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
  • A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Certifications (Minimum Requirements)

  • Two or more mid-to-expert level platform certifications such as:
    • VCP, VCAP, CCNP, CCIE, MZ-AZ, NCTSP, or equivalent experience.
  • One or more of the following (or equivalent experience):
    • ITIL, TOGAF, CEAP, PMP.

Compensation Range: 

$72-86/hr
