Sentinel is seeking a skilled and experienced Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager to lead our NOC team in ensuring the uninterrupted operation of our customers network infrastructure. The NOC Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the NOC, managing a team of network professionals, and ensuring that network performance and security meet or exceed established service level agreements (SLAs). The successful candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a deep understanding of network management and monitoring tools. This is a full-time role based in Downers Grove, IL headquarters.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience managing a NOC is required
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platform
  • Experience working with Cisco, Palo Alto, and/or Fortinet solutions
  • Knowledge of SolarWinds or Splunk IT Monitoring / Infrastructure platforms
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar are a plus
  • Prior experience in leading, mentoring, and managing a team of network technicians and engineers
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
  • Ability to manage teams, process and procedures including client communications.
  • Must be organized with ability to multi-task
  • The candidate must have a car, as this position requires infrequent travel between location and the transportation of equipment
  • A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
