  • Responsibilities

    Sentinel Technologies is seeking a self-motivated individual to lead Help Desk support for one of our clients located in Hyde Park, IL. As the Help Desk Lead you will support the client sites with daily support for end-user desktop computers, software, and supported peripherals. You will also oversee the technical projects and manage effective delivery of networks, development, and disaster discovery systems and processes. This is a 6 month contract to hire role located in Hyde Park, IL with 25% travel to other locations in the Chicagoland Area.

    Qualifications

    • 5 years of proven work experience in a technical support leadership role or relevant experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software/Hardware Engineering, or related field required
    • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and of computer hardware/software systems
    • Expertise in data management and governance
    • Hands-on experience with computers, network administration and implementation
    • Ability to communicate will both verbally and written
    • The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
    • A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
    • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
    • Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
