    Responsibilities

    Help Desk Agent, Level I

    Sentinel is seeking a Level I Helpdesk Agent to join our client. The Helpdesk Agent will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues for end users, communicating updates and statuses on tickets, document steps taken when troubleshooting an issue and escalate tickets that they are not able to resolve. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a helpdesk position. This is a 3-month contract to hire opportunity located in Lisle, IL.

    Qualifications

    • Must have 3-5 years’ experience in a Helpdesk role
    • Experience administering Active Directory and ticketing systems (Heat preferred)
    • Prior experience troubleshooting via phone (password resets, printing issues, internet connectivity)
    • Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate at all levels of the organization
    • A+, ITIL, Microsoft certifications preferred, not required
    • A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
    • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
    • Must be currently working in a similar position
    • Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
