    Responsibilities

    Incident Response Engineer

    The Incident Response Engineer will be responsible for the technical coordination and response for critical incidents for our customers. This role will have to be well versed with knowledge, skills, and abilities across the entire technical stack to understand how everything ties together with a deeper focus in data center technologies. In addition, this role will be expected to provide daily support or project deployment assistance to our customers during non-incident downtimes. This is a full time position based out of Tempe, AZ.

     

    Qualifications

    • 5-7 years of hands-on experience in data center technologies
    • Understanding of incident response methodologies preferred
    • Strong experience in Windows Server, Linux server is a plus
    • Strong experience in storage devices (EMC, Pure, Nimble)
    • Strong experience in Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V a plus)
    • Experience with working in critical, high-pressure situations
    • Microsoft, Cisco, and/or storage certifications such as MCSE or CCNP is preferred
    • Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate at all levels of the organization
    • Must have a strong ability to problem solve and remain calm in critical situations
    • Must be able to work a flexible shift on occasion as situations demand it
    • Must be able to work well with others in a fast-paced team atmosphere
    • Ability to maintain a strong working relationship and collaborate technical activities with peers and customers across all levels
    • A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
    • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
    • Must be currently working in a similar position
    • Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
