Network Engineer

Sentinel is seeking a Network Engineer to join one of our clients. This position will be responsible for the planning and implementation, maintenance, monitoring and support for network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and IPS devices. This position will work closely with other IT support team members supporting all systems, users and project life cycles. This is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity located in Tempe, AZ.


  • 5+ years of networking experience
  • Ability to configure, manage and upgrade Cisco routers, switches
  • Ability to configure, manage and upgrade Fortinet Firewalls 60D-240D, access points, Fortiauthenicator, Fortimanager and Fortianalyzer
  • Proficient understanding and knowledge of MPLS, BGP, VPN, Ethernet, Analog theory and applications.
  • 10% local travel to other facilities, a valid driver’s license will be required
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Must be currently working in a similar position
  • Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
