Responsibilities

Advanced Support Analyst

Perform computer network engineering to monitor, troubleshoot, analyze and configure the following network infrastructures: Cisco UC, Cisco ASA Call Manager, Cisco Routers, UCCX/UCCE, ISR, Cisco Switches, Data Center, EMC, Storage Solutions, and Wireless Networks; develop, document, and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards; provide computer system analysis of customer technologies; design and configure Cisco ASA 5520 for edge access and internet gateways using Cisco 7600 Series in BGP dual homing condition; provide support following the incident management process, analyze and conceptualize solutions, and resolve technical problems and failures with systems and software applications; configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches to ensure security and optimization of network access; prioritize incidents and change requests based on defined criteria and service level agreements and communicate with the customer on incident status; develop and document work procedures and troubleshooting guidelines and documentation utilizing Perl, Expect, VBscript, Solarwinds, and Cisco AnyConnect; create weekly departmental status reports; and participate in technology projects and quality assurance testing.

Qualifications

Must have a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or foreign equivalent and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a substantially similar position; or alternatively, must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or foreign equivalent and 5 years of experience in the job offered or a substantially similar position.

 

Must have the following Cisco certifications: CCIE Service Provider
