Responsibilities

Field Engineer

As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing vendor relationships and contract negotiations. The ideal candidate has a technical knowledge and business savvy. You will be working across all levels of the organization and excellent communication skills are a must. This position does require up to 20% national travel. This is a direct hire opportunity based in Bedford Park, IL.

Qualifications

  • Basic technical knowledge
  • Prior experience managing vendor relationships
  • Prior experience with contract negotiations
  • Detail oriented and organization skills a must
  • The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
  • A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Must be currently working in a similar position
  • Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
