Unified Communications Engineer
As a Unified Communications Engineer, you will implement and troubleshoot Cisco VOIP infrastructure onsite for our enterprise level client in Lansing, MI. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to perform autonomously. Must be a “doer” who can drive a project to successful completion. Strong implementation and troubleshooting ability with exceptional customer relations skills. This is a full time opportunity located in Lansing, MI.
Experience with Tier 2 operational support tasks involving Call Manager (CUCM), CM Express (CME), various Voice Gateways, Unity Connection, Unity Express and Unity Attendant Console.
Documented experience in successfully providing project design, configuration & implementation tasks for CUCM, CUE, CUCME and other Cisco IP telephony related system components.
Perform VoIP installations
Upgrade existing installations of Call Manager
Performed VoIP assessments following Cisco best practices
CCVP certification is a plus
5 years of experience with ticketing system processes and related (e.g. BMC Remedy)
Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Must be currently working in a similar position
Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
